The work lines followed by Junta Islámica have been characterized by promoting the development of freedom of conscience and fostering common spaces for meeting and exchange on issues of social, economic, cultural and religious interest.
For more than 30 years, Junta Islámica has been working on the development of various projects on Islam, promoting democratic values and coexistence between different groups in a non-denominational space, based on respect, education and mutual understanding.
Our organization is open to all people, entities and institutions of society that may be interested in our work and our approaches. We work from full freedom of conscience, conscious and sincere spirituality and the values of the Quran and the Sunna.
Junta Islámica actively cooperates for the rights of Muslim citizenship with the Government of Spain, the Junta de Andalucía, the City Council of Cordoba, the University of Cordoba (UCO) and the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), the University of Extramadura (UEX), the University of Zaragoza, the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation, and Casa Árabe, with which it develops the Ramadan Nights program.
We have different activities such as religious assistance, development of Muslim citizenship and cultural activities and dissemination of Islam. We also have projects such as Halal Institute, Las Fuentes Foundation, Verislam.com or FECIM Federation.
